What is the Coffee Club?

Our special Coffee Club allows you to have Caribou Coffee delivered to you on an ongoing basis. You specify your coffee type, order frequency, shipping method and whether you’d like it delivered to your home or business.

Is online ordering safe?

Buying on our website is safe. We use industry standard encryption technology for any communication involving sensitive information. We don’t share any of your information with anyone else.

Can I buy a Caribou Gift Card online?

Yes, Caribou Gift Cards are available in our online store in amounts from $5 - $100. If you want to buy Caribou Gift Card(s) in amounts greater than $100, call 1-888-CARIBOU (1-888-227-4268). We’re available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CT.

Placing a large order for Caribou Gift Cards? See if you’re eligible for a discount. The following list breaks down the order amounts and discounts:

  • $5,000.00–$9,999.00 receive 1% discount
  • $10,000.00–$24,999.00 receive 2% discount
  • $25,000.00–$49,999.00 receive 3% discount
  • $50,000.00+ receive 5% discount

If you already have a Caribou Gift Card, you can add to your balance or sign up for our Auto Reload program on our web site.


Why can’t I put more than one than one item in my cart?

At Caribou Coffee, we are committed to freshness. We wait until our locations or customers place an order for beans before we roast them. Our roast-to-order philosophy ensures that you receive the freshest possible coffee.


Which shipping method should I choose?

The shipping method you should choose depends on your preferences, where you are shipping and when you hope to receive your package.

Priority Mail

Delivery can occur Monday thru Saturday, and most orders are delivered within 2-4 business days of leaving our facility. You won’t be able to track the status of the package until it’s delivered, when its status will be confirmed as “delivered." All military addresses and P.O. boxes must ship using U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail.

UPS Ground

Delivery can occur Monday thru Friday, and most orders are delivered within 3-5 business days. Delivery status can be tracked on a daily basis with the tracking number. UPS Ground is not available for military addresses or P.O. boxes.

UPS 2nd Day Air

Delivery can occur Monday thru Friday, and orders are guaranteed to arrive two full business days after it leaves our facility. Delivery status can be tracked on a daily basis with the tracking number. UPS 2nd Day Air is not available for military addresses or P.O. boxes.

UPS Next Day Air

Delivery can occur Monday thru Friday, and the order is guaranteed to arrive the next business day. Delivery status can be tracked on a daily basis with the tracking number. UPS Next Day Air is not available for military addresses or P.O. boxes.


How do you calculate shipping costs?

Shipping costs are based on weight and the zone the package is being shipped to. Shipping fees are based on actual costs. There are no handling fees. Because we calculate the shipping for the specific items you have ordered, we don’t have a standard shipping rate table.


Do you ship outside the United States?

Unfortunately, due to the high tariffs and perishable nature of our product, we do not ship internationally.


My credit card is being declined. What can I do?

Make sure the billing address you enter matches that of the credit card you’re using. Caribou Coffee verifies the credit card billing address on all web transactions. Therefore, your billing address must match the credit card you’re using. However, your billing address may be different than your delivery address.

If any of your information is inaccurate, even if credit funds are available, please understand that we will not be able to accept the transaction.

Can I get a catalog of Caribou Coffee merchandise?

While we do have a listing of our coffee and tea selections that we can provide to you, the best and most up-to-date resource for viewing our coffees, teas and other merchandise is right here, online.

What credit cards do you accept online?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.


How do I split the order payment between my Caribou Gift Card and a credit card?

This can be done through our Customer Service area. Someone is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. CST. Just call 1-888-227-4268 (1-888-CARIBOU).

Otherwise, outside our office hours, you would need to add the required amount to your Caribou Card and use that as your method of payment. Do this by logging in and registering your card if it’s not already registered. Then, click on Add to Balance and add an amount equal to or greater than the difference between the initial Caribou Gift Card value and the amount due. (So, if your order total is $24.99 including shipping and your Caribou Gift Card has $20 on it, you would need to add $5.00 to the card.) Once you have done this, you can use the Caribou Gift Card to pay for the entire order.


If I need to modify my web order, why do you need my credit card information again?

For security reasons, we do not retain credit card details in our system or database. The credit card transaction is authorized in real time, approved by your bank and the authorization is settled when your order is shipped. At no stage is your card information stored on an online order. Therefore, if the total due on your order goes up (such as when you add an item to your order, make changes to the shipping address or the shipping method) we need to have that credit card information again to process the change and ship your modified order.
