What to Expect

As a District Manager, you'll be responsible for eight to 12 of our locations. You'll train and encourage Caribou Coffee Store Managers and Team Members to be excellent in every way, at all levels.

Pay & Benefits

Compensation for District Managers includes:

  • Competitive base pay
  • Performance based bonus program

Health & Dental Insurance:

District Managers are eligible the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. Eligible dependents include same-sex domestic partners.

401(k)

Our 401(k) Plan offers a convenient way to save for retirement through pre-tax payroll deductions. Caribou Coffee may offer a discretionary match at the end of each year. This match is subject to a four-year vesting schedule, based on years of employment.

District Managers who are at least 21 years of age are eligible to participate in the first of the quarter following 12 months of continuous service, consisting of at least 1,000 hours of service.

Life Insurance

Caribou Coffee provides basic life insurance to all District Managers regularly working 32 hours per week. District Managers receive coverage equal to 1x their base salary. In addition, District Managers can purchase supplemental coverage for themselves and their dependents. Eligible dependents include same-sex domestic partners.

Pooled Leave

Pooled leave is a benefit designed to give District Managers a bank of paid time off to use for vacation, minor illness or personal time off as one sees fit.

Hours are accrued from the first day of employment. Pooled leave eligibility will begin after a District Manager completes six months of continuous service.

Short-Term Disability

Caribou Coffee team members at the District Manager level and above are eligible to participate after completing one year of continuous service. Caribou Coffee currently pays the entire premium for this benefit. All eligible District Managers will automatically be enrolled the first month following a year of continuous service.

Long-Term Disability

Eligible employees may participate after completing 6 months of continuous service.

District Manager Discounts

All District Managers are immediately eligible for discounts on beverages, food, beans, teas and merchandise.
