Caribou College
Start learning new skills right away. We offer Caribou College training classes regularly in each Caribou Coffee market. After completing our initial in-store training, Shift Supervisors can take Caribou College classes as they progress their careers.
Health & Dental Insurance:
Shift Supervisors regularly working at least 20 hours per week are eligible to participate. Eligible dependents include same-sex domestic partners.
401(k)
Our 401(k) Plan offers a convenient way to save for retirement through pre-tax payroll deductions. Caribou Coffee may offer a discretionary match at the end of each year. This match is subject to a four-year vesting schedule, based on years of employment.
Shift Supervisors who are at least 21 years of age are eligible to participate in the first of the quarter following 12 months of continuous service, consisting of at least 1,000 hours of service.
Life Insurance
Caribou Coffee provides basic life insurance to all Shift Supervisors regularly working 32 hours per week. Shift Supervisors can purchase supplemental coverage for themselves and their dependents. Eligible dependents include same-sex domestic partners.
Pooled Leave
Pooled leave is a benefit designed to give Shift Supervisors a bank of paid time off to use for vacation, minor illness or personal time off as one sees fit. Full-time Shift Supervisors who consistently work a minimum of 32 hours per week are eligible.
Hours are accrued from the first day of employment. Pooled leave eligibility will begin after a Shift Supervisor completes six months of continuous service.
Shift Supervisors Discounts
All Shift Supervisors are immediately eligible for discounts on beverages, food, beans, teas and merchandise.
