Step 1: Qualifications

We're looking for highly qualified, passionate Caribou Coffee franchisee candidates to help us bring Caribou Coffee to markets outside the United States, who:

• Have a proven track record of successful, multi-unit restaurant development and operations in the area they wish to franchise
  

• Have expertise in sourcing and developing retail real estate spaces in the area they wish to franchise
  

• Have the administrative infrastructure and operations support resources to facilitate bringing our brand to a new market and complete a multi-unit development schedule
  

• Live, work and have strong business connections in the area they wish to franchise
  

• Commit to a multi-unit development plan, with a minimum of 10 stores (Specific unit commitment will depend upon market area.)
  

• Have the necessary financial resources to develop the Caribou Coffee brand. In general, we require:
  • $400,000 in net worth (individual or in partnership) per store
  • $100,000 in liquid assets (individual or in partnership) per store
